22nd Annual ATL DOC - March 18 - 21, 2027

Atlanta Documentary Film Festival

ATL DOC, formerly Atlanta Docufest, is one of the longest-running documentary film festivals in the United States. For over twenty years, it’s been a place for films that tell the truth, start conversations, and bring people together.

Each year, we present a curated lineup of documentary features and shorts from around the world, alongside work from Georgia filmmakers. The focus is simple: strong storytelling and real voices.

This is a live festival. Filmmakers attend. Audiences show up. Q&As happen. Conversations carry beyond the screen. It’s a space to connect, share your work, and be part of a community that cares about documentary film.

We program a wide range of styles including investigative, personal, political, environmental, and experimental work. If your film has something to say, it belongs here.

ATL DOC is where filmmakers and audiences meet every year in Atlanta.
